Our Managed Account Division researches CTAs based on a strict criteria of historical trading, past profitability along with an emphasis on limited draw-downs in customer equity.

We strive to avoid the short-term "hot traders of the day". Rather, we focus on finding CTAs that have had historically profitable trading results. It is very important that each trader realizes that no one can forecast or guarantee future profits. The past profitable trading history of a CTA does not in itself guarantee future profits.

Our Managed Account Division is headed by Boyd Baker (pictured left), a graduate of the University of Illinois, majoring in Agriculture Industries. Boyd's first introduction to the Futures Industry came in Grain Merchandising with the Anderson Grain Company. In 1986 Boyd joined Ira Epstein and Company acquiring both his stock and commodity licenses. For the past two decades Boyd has advised both institutional and individual customers of Gemini Futures. He has played an integral role in developing the Brokers Assisted Account Division of Gemini Futures.

Boyd has authored several trading courses including Gemini Futures's New Investment Kit offered by Gemini Futures. His opinions are sought by major trade publications, newswire services and investment shows throughout the country. Boyd brings forth a wealth of trading experience, now heading up the Gemini Futures Managed Account Division.
