E-Mailing of Statements
The Benefits of E-Mailed Statements
In order to get information to customers quickly, control costs and keep commissions low, the Futures Industry requested and was granted by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission permission to deliver:
* Daily Purchase and Sale Statements
* Monthly Statements...all via e-mail.
This is done through the Internet as an alternative method to using regular postal mail. Our clearing firm, Shatkin Arbor, LLC, provides our customers with two "alternate" methods of receiving daily statements.
Customers of Gemini Futures have 2 choices. Either choose FREE e-mail delivery of their Daily and Monthly Purchase and Sale Statements or have a postal mailing fee imposed of $2.00 domestic, $3 international per each Daily Statement sent via regular mail. These mailing fees are charged directly to those customer accounts who do not complete and send back to us the e-mail form below. Please be certain to get the form to us.
Avoiding this mailing fee is both easy and smart since it gets your P&S Statements delivered to you quickly, has no associated fee and most importantly allows you to see within 1-day of making a trade, a formal record of what was recorded in your account. At best, regular postal mail takes several days to arrive. We strongly encourage all Gemini Futures customers to fill out the Electronic P&S Form below. Once we receive it back from you, your daily statements will be sent via e-mail, not by regular mail.
It is Shatkin Arbor, LLC's policy to send out by regular postal mail, a copy to each customer of that customer's Monthly Activity Statement if trades were made in that specific month. If you complete no trades, no Monthly Statement will be sent out.
Throughout this website you will see on the title bar at the top of each page the heading,"E-mail Account Update". If you change your e-mail address, simply click on this page and enter your new e-mail address. An electronic form is generated. We will forward it on to Shatkin Arbor, LLC for their records.
